What An Awesome Concert!

Last night we went to the Matchbox 20 concert @ the E-Center. Alanis Morssette opened up for them and it was cool to see her in concert! I loved her when I was a senior in high school so, listening to her music brought back a lot of memories for me. When she performed we were in our seats that we bought so we didn't really get a good look at her up close. After her performance, we noticed an entire section next to the stage that only had a few people sitting in it. We went over to try to get a better seat and we got 3rd row. We were able to see EVERYTHING!!!! It was so fun! I didn't take my camera cause our original seats were way too far away to be able to use it. Fortunately, B had his phone and took these pictures of Rob Thomas.

We We ran into some friends and they sat with us. Can you believe how close we got? We saw him up close! I know that he could see us! What a great concert! Don't you just love this music playing right now on my play list? They were amazing!

There are always interesting people that you see at concerts. It's funny to watch all of the drunk people. There were a lot of kids with their parents and some people even brought their babies. Can you believe someone would take a baby to a concert? The funniest people we saw was a couple of "star-struck" junior high girls that wrote a letter to Rob Thomas and were begging all of the stage crew to give it to him. I remember being like that at that age. We just laughed and thought it was so funny!

I have to say that I am definitely loving the concert life! Of course, we only go to the good ones and not the bad ones. I told B on our way home that we need to go to a lot of them this summer! I have been to quite a few and this one is up at the top with U2 and Garth Brooks on the best concerts! We can't wait until they come here again!
