Legoland!

While we were in California for Hoopfest, we went to Legoland. My sister Kim had free passes for us to use. With the 98 degree weather in the valley, we looked forward to spending an afternoon on the coast at a fun amusement park. We had never been there before. We had a fun afternoon!

Caleb was able to go on every ride. This park is mainly for kids ages 2-12.

Caleb loved driving this fun Lego boat. He pushed the gas and steered. He thought he was pretty neat!

There wasn't many rides for Izzy to go on but, she enjoyed wandering around and checking out all of the Lego sculptures.

We had some fun caricatures done on the kids. They turned out so cute! Izzy's was a little hula girl dancing on the beach. This matches her Hawaiian room theme.

Caleb's, of course, is an train engineer. We thought this was cute and we had to laugh when we saw the little gap between his teeth in the drawing.

They have the FUNNEST water area were the kids ran around in the spraying water. There is also a huge jungle gym with shooting water. My kids would've stayed in the water area all day.
How sweet!

I love going on rides with Caleb! He gets so excited. I just love this age!

My little night in shining armor.

Look how cool these Lego statues are!

The fun thing about Legoland is that almost everything is made out of Legos. It's pretty amazing!

This is my favorite picture! Both Caleb and Izzy love Thomas the Train. You can imagine their eyes when they saw this.

Isn't Bob the Builder cool?

So I have to say that is you go to California and you don't want to do Disneyland or you want to do more fun stuff while on your visit, you need to go here! This park is so clean and the lines weren't long. Caleb can't stop talking about Legoland. This definitely won't be our last visit! Thanks Kim for the tickets!

looks fun! We haven't been there yet, either. Good to know that the park is for 2 -12 year olds.
