Another long delay!

So what can I say, I've been a slacker on my blogging. I have been pretty busy lately working on our ward humanitarian project. we have to make 100 receiving blankets. I learned how to sew and i have made about 40!!! who would've ever thought that I was miss "Suzy Homemaker?" I made these two cute blankets for my friends that just had babies. What do you think?

During my long break I can say that I have taken a lot of pictures. Here are a few of my two cute kids playing together.

Caleb has started T-Ball for the first time and is loving it. However, he does get frustrated when he doesn't get the ball while out in the field. He enjoys playing with his team "White Sox." It's fun to watch his helmet bobble around as he runs to first base with his big grin on his face. Izzy loves going to the games too. She loves to wear Caleb's hat and put on his mitt. I love her cute curls!

We spent a day at the Zoo for Caleb's first field trip of the year. He had fun spending time with his buddies Nathan and Ace.

A week ago my sweet little girl had her 2nd birthday. We went to McDonald's to celebrate.

A few more fun pictures of my Isabel. I like to call these ones of Izzy "Bubbles and Dress-ups"

Last Thursday we went to the circus with Brandon's mom and dad. We had a lot of fun! My kids loved it! It was their first time going. We will go again next year!

Here are a few final pictures of our day at the park in Park City last weekend. My kids love playing at the park at the Outlets!

Those are the updates on our family. I will do better with my blogging! We are having lots of fun and staying busy! Check back often to see more updates!

Wow I am impressed that you have made so many blankets! Where do you find the time?
Looks like you guys have been pretty busy and having a good time. I wanted to take the kids to the circus this year, but it did not work out. It looked pretty cool. Next year for sure.
I go in phases with the blogging too.

So cute! Glad that you haven't "disappeared" and are just busy! What a fun end of summer you have had! Hope you are well (all the way on the other side of the TM road!)

I hear ya, sister...I've decided it's OK to blog in spurts! I was a MIA blogger the entire month of Sept. At least you took pictures...my camera even took time off. Cool that you're working on a humanitarian project!

Cute pictures! That's a great humanitarian project. I remember when Carter was in the hospital with RSV we got a litle 'project linus' blaket. It was so sweet! Looks like you guys have been having fun... :)

You are superwoman! I love your blankets! We went to the circus too, and the kids really enjoyed it. Let me know if you need help with the blankets!

Hey Amy,

I found your blog through Sarah Bennett's. That is how I knew you did the blankets for the humanitarian project. Yours look great. It doesn't look like you did the "x's" on these ones..? I did an "x' on one and the middle square on the other. I have now finished two. I know you have done over 30, but I feel pretty good about getting two done in one day with my crazy kids. I should have started earlier. I really appreciate your help. Thanks for calling back this morning.

Your blog is cute. I have a blog too. www.lanenga.com/familyblog
